Watched a ton of Wendell foul clips last night in response to his comments to @DarnellMayberry. Learned a couple things.

WCJ barely fouled the ball handler on the blitz itself. Only a handful all year and most were frustration fouls and reaches bc he wasn't able to contain

Another example where he just bails Lowry out with a reach

What he said about being out of position is spot on tho. Here's an example of him hedging and having to race back to get in front of Bam. He doesn't get enough help from Lauri, Dunn is out of position for his rotation.

Completely set up for failure

He's actually really good at getting back in the play but that scheme didn't do him any favors

Even when he did get back in the play on time, he was often sealed way too low to where he didn't really have a chance

To be fair, he had a ton of verticality fouls and needs to figure out how to stay up and down regardless of the scheme

Also, unreal how many illegal screens he set. Lost track of count but it was > 20. Game was moving pretty fast for him last season. Little out of control, little ball watchy at times. Hopefully he can sharpen that stuff.

Anyway, the Bulls play a game tonight. I am excited.
