In ‘The Suitcase’ by @Chris_Naylor_B, a strange creature arrives carrying a suitcase. Curious animals think he’s fibbing about what’s inside and break into it! They begin to realise what the stranger’s been through and create him a special welcome present.

The Runaway Pea is a fabulously funny rhyming story written by @ KjartanPoskitt and illustrated by Alex Willmore. Children will love following this rogue pea on his perilous adventures!

A Mouse Called Julian by Joe Todd-Stanton
( @toddstanton1) is a lovely, gorgeously
illustrated story which tells the tale of a mouse who prefers to keep himself to himself until one day an unexpected guest arrives for dinner. Will he change his solitary ways? #OscarsBookPrize 5/7
I Am A Tiger, written by Karl Newson ( @Karlwheel) and illustrated by Ross Collins is about a little mouse with very big ideas. He tries to convince the other animals that he is a tiger! What will happen when a real tiger turns up?

Last but not least, ‘Tad’, winner of #OscarsBookPrize 2020, by @Benji_Davies, is a superb story about the smallest tadpole in the whole wide pond growing up. One by one, her siblings are disappearing. Where are they going and can she continue to avoid the dreaded Big Blub?
