This is such an important topic that I think we don’t talk about very often. The number of rejection emails I’ve received eh? Thanks for sharing your experience @darkwa_kwabena https://twitter.com/darkwa_kwabena/status/1337328917749911554
Let me share a few of the painful ones I’ve received over the years.
2017: McKinsey. I didn’t even get to the interview stage and I was so confident I was a good fit

There are many others in-between. This is why when people look up to me and say things like "Edem is a successful tech guy", I always feel someway. And if you speak to any tech person you look up to about their failures, you will hear so many of them.
So if you are out there applying for jobs and getting rejection emails. Or you feel like you are not making progress or aren't good enough because it seems to be so "easy" for folks you look up to. Think again. It's a marathon, not a race.
Don't give up. Keep practicing. Keep perfecting your skills and keep applying. With enough consistency, it gets easier along the way.
This is also why the end of last year was super significant to me. A few of my friends and I prepared intensely for our upcoming interviews. This time around, we had the experience and the knowledge on how to prepare. Super important. We all passed our interviews and relocated.
