Winnipeg City Council EPC is hearing delegations today on their atrocious proposed budget, and they had a special visitor stop by: The Grinch
The Grinch said: “Roads don’t have feelings, that’s why I want more of them. City Council knows how to make my heart stay 2 sizes too small!...
"I have great respect for @Mayor_Bowman and his minions. They won’t let little things like feelings, care, and concern get in the way of building a wretched city” said the Grinch
City Council is taking funding which could help Winnipeg communities and instead spending it on concrete and cops, just like the Grinch who stole the joy of Christmas from Whoville.
#Budget4All demands real action from City Council, they will also have a heart two sizes larger for The Grinch and for @Mayor_Bowman, should the budget be amended. 💗💗💗
“If City Council decides to fund the things we need and love, like libraries, trees, transit, recreation, instead of roads and police, then Christmas could be saved,” said Cindy Lou Who.
