ps we need to stop criticism of “social media.” It’s Facebook. They are the company of global failure in leadership and civil society to do the right thing in pursuit of profits and dominance. Twitter, Snap, even TikTok are entirely different companies.
Flagging all of this because industry people are often cautious about calling out specific companies/execs and press is sensitive to covering one company too much. But if you can’t see Facebook is uniquely rotten at this point then I disagree strongly.
