Propaganda 🚨
This is a hack job that only Malviya can afford to share proudly. There is no record of this data on any government site (not that govt has any other data related to important & concerning matters).

Imagine not having any data about migrant labourers or for that matter PM cares fund but maintaining a Disney land fantasy data on outreach to farmers. Here is why this article is an entire lie propagated to show that bills were not passed in haste.
1. The article reads that govt reached out to ‘93lac farmers in last 6 months’.

Two important lies here. The govt outreach as per this piece started in July. The ordinances were passed on June 6. The article itself is testifies that outreach started after the ordinances.
Let’s even assume that only states were consulted at Niti Ayog & all states agreed. There was no farmer consultation before bringing in ordinances. Parties like SAD even asked for formation of select committees which was snubbed by @nstomar.
The other contentious data used is 93lac farmers.
On what level were these farmers consulted is not mentioned.
What was the outreach method of the consultation is not mentioned.
Which state officials were headed for the program is not mentioned.
Correct me if I am wrong. Please mention any agriculture outreach program that you have seen at your CSC level in last 6months? NONE!

The programs were
1. The nutritional seeds program.
2. Soil card program.
3. DBT awareness program.
4. Stubble awareness program.
Now let’s get to this number 93lacs.

Take a look at the agriculture census 2015-16 and calculate the %age of people consulted (even if we want to believe that some ghost program was conducted by GOi)
The state doesn’t even have the data correctly mentioned in its census forget about maintaining an outreach program data. For example- In Bihar, against the 1.64 crore farmer families that the Census claims, only 52.5 lakh farmers have been traced by the State government.
In the case of Maharashtra, where the Census said there are 1.5 crore operational land holdings, only 86.7 lakh farmers are on record now. Similar situation exists for MP, against the 1 crore farmer holdings, only 55.05 lakh farmers are registered for PM-Kisan.
So either PM Kisan is incorrect or govt did a shabby job with the census. Either way the current hack job on outreach is not justified and is minimalist even if true.
And I am not even going to the number of soil cards issued to farmers which is even lower and that data claims entirely different numbers. So all these numbers are on govt portals but the numbers shared by Malviya are made up.
Consider this, even if we assume by any chance that at least 1cr farmers were given presentations, the data on Common Service centres (CSC) betrays that claim as well. There are total number of 1lac CSC’s in country. So by that logic govt cannot do this program in ghost manner
There is no chance that 93lac farmers can be reached with 1lac CSC’s (not all are functional tho) without the help of private players. Please enlighten me with the schemes that involved a private player IT company giving a presentation on the laws in your village. I will wait.
These face saving acts will serve no purpose. The bills are not only constitutionally wrong but also have serious backdoors even with the proposed amendments. Farm unions are right in maintaining their stand. #TakeBackFarmersBill
