Biological materials #fluoresce but unless the animal is active in very specific lighting conditions and has a visual system capable of detecting fluorescent signals, the fluorescence cannot be used to communicate anything.

Fluorescence can be found everywhere if you shine bright enough UV light!
Everything that #fluoresces is not a visual signal. When in doubt about visual signals ask a #visionscientist!
