Just going to leave this thread here to remind everyone of the benefits of leaving the EU, especially without a #Brexit deal. This will happily ensure we are no longer part of:
1. An organisation that has successfully eradicated war in Europe while promoting human rights and committing its members to the rule of law.
2. One of the strongest economic areas in the world where 7.3% of the world's population accounts for 23% of nominal global GDP.
3. The removal of non-tariff barriers and mutual recognition of high safety standards which have reduced export costs and delivery times, as well lowered prices and increased product safety for consumers.
4. More inward investment from outside the EU as foreign firms are encouraged to invest in countries belonging to the single market.
5. Free movement rules that help fill labour market shortages and increase productive capacity through young and qualified migration who make a net contribution to tax revenues.
6. Easier and cheaper travel for people to visit, live, study, retire or work freely across Europe.
7. A Social Charter enshrining protection for workers such as a maximum working week, the right to collective bargaining and fair pay for employment.
8. The world’s highest environmental standards that protect natural habitats, keep air and water clean, push businesses toward a sustainable economy and make the EU the leader in international negotiations on climate change.
9. Harmonised regulation of monopoly and cartel power within Europe to protect consumers from abuses of cartels, monopoly and dominant market power.
10. A European Arrest Warrant scheme that makes it easier to track criminals across Europe.
Oh, and we get to pay roaming charges again! Thank goodness for #Brexit!
