In response to @EU_Commission ‘mitigations’ from Jan 1, expecting @RishiSunak to announce package of measures to boost UK economy. Measures disallowed within SM.

Reduce VAT on domestic fuel to zero. Lower tariffs on staple foods/clothing. All to reduce cost of living for poorest in society.
Announce creation Freeports and offer tax breaks, incentives, apprenticeship schemes to encourage investment in fishing/coastal communities 2/

Encourage new inward investment via tax breaks, incentives. Undercut corporation tax rates in all EU countries. Target new/digital industries, education and training. 3/

Create strategic industries (fish/steel/defence) and change procurement rules to incentivise selection of UK firms/products. 4/

Finally, massive Buy British campaign to support agricultural/fishing sectors. Change food packaging so British produce more clearly marked.
