Some things I have been told as fact on Forensic Medical Services Bill stramash by multiple ppl.
1. Replacing 'gender' with 'sex' changes the law to stop rape survivors being examined by trans doctors.

3. Unless the word gender is changed to sex, any rape survivor who objected to being examined by a man pretending to be a woman could be charged with a hate crime.

5. If you - correctly - say that none of the above points are true you will be told you prioritise the feelings of trans people above the needs of rape survivors. If you are a man you will be called a misogynist.
Scotpol is awash with organised disinformation on this issue. Many hundreds, if not thousands, of people don't come to believe the same false information coincidentally. (This doesn't mean everyone raising concerns is part of the disinformation but they should be aware of it).
My message to Scottish politicians is that this is happening on your watch and is setting a really bad precedent. No-one benefits from politics conducted on these terms. You need to wise up to this instead of being pushed along by it.
