The Christian doctrine is not primarily of victimhood, but deification. Christ became a victimary scapegoat to abolish sacrificial logic for a purpose - that we might transcend this cycle and attain Godhood, For God became man so we might become Gods, as St. Athanasius tells us.

Slave morality, “is not the spirit of the sons of God; such wisdom is not acceptable to the noble family of the adopted. That chosen and royal race must live up to the dignity of its regeneration, must love what the Father loves, and not disagree with its Maker.” - Pope St. Leo

To those who proclaim that they are worthless; if God became man, and you are a man and so participate in this now dignified substance that can potentially be deified - you have such tremendous worth from the free gift bestowed upon you.
