All the TLOU2 awards were the most unsurprising thing so I'm not even upset, but one can hope all the praise on it by general audiences completely flips around in the inverse direction in a few years like it did with Bioshock Infinite.

Also, hard to blame journalists for voting for the studio's culture when, if you actually bothered to look at the jury of 95, only like 5 of them actually consistently and vocally stood against crunch while the other 90 just wanted to CONSUME NEXT PRODUCT

Reactionaries continue to claim that all of journalism marches to the beat of a drum they don't like while simultaneously complaining about 2-3 usual suspects like Kotaku and Polygon and not noticing most outlet don't bother to do actual reporting on bullshit (when they should).

We're not gonna get anywhere until outlets stop being batshit scared of getting blacklisted by companies (or very angry singular CEOs who send angry emails.)
