MCOC Anniversary Arenas: A Thread

(With 142 maxed 2* Champs)

414k in 75 individual fights = 5,520 avg points per fight

1 mil in 177 individual fights = 5,649 avg points per fight

Avg points per fight: 5,589

In order for me to achieve 4 mil points: approx 715 fights
Which, in total, would be approx 239 matches. Divided by 7, that’s 34-35 matches, 3 fights each, per day.

Without suicides.

Again, I have my entire 2* roster max ranked. Majority of the community likely does not. Most of the community also does not likely have 142 2* champs.
Bluntly, that’s too many.

That’s way too many, especially considering that 10k 5* shards has, in the past, taken approximately 100 matches. Depending on your roster, you could be doing 3x as many matches, let alone considering the time investment this’ll require.
I’m planning to do all 3, as fast as I can without refreshing, to give people an idea of what’s required match-wise.

But even then. The time investment for this is... it’s not worth it. I can say that now, with confidence, as an arena grinder.

Obviously it’s optional content-
-and I understand that. I don’t HAVE to do these. But as an comparison, I don’t do 250 matches when I’m doing a 4* Featured grind to get the champ. I don’t do that many matches unless I’m doing a 5* arena grind.

If the goal is to give casual players a reason to get into arena-
-then I would say it does not meet that goal. The past few of these, I’ve seen many casual grinders hop in to score some shards. @UmcocDeacon and @roastedbagel come to mind, in fact.

But this will end up turning off people for arena far more than encouraging them to try the-
-game mode, and as someone that loves arena?

Man that makes me sad.

See you guys on the other side of approximately 240 matches, I guess.
