Former Queen’s Park Liberal staffer Gabriel Deroche is a Jeopardy contestant tonight. I believe he was the health minister’s press secretary when I met him
By my count this is the third Jeopardy contestant I’ve met in person at some point

Gabe had the best story of the contestants, about being a child opera singer. And he just got a lucky break in getting a wrong answer overturned. Tied for second coming out of the break!
Anyone’s game coming out of Round 1. Yellow ladu has a healthy lead though
Some tough breaks for @gabederoche in round 2. He mixes up a hedgehog and a porcupine (I would have too!). His closest competitor gets both Daily Doubles. And then he gets dinged for saying “Sleepy Hollow,” not “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”
It’s a runaway for the returning champion, so Final Jeopardy is a moot point. I am once again reminded that I would get crushed if I ever went on this show.
Geez, tough Final Jeopardy question that all three get wrong (I would have too). Overall, very good showing by @gabederoche! Jeopardy is hard, folks.
