Then circa 2014 we had the take over of social sites by a fascist astroturfers. Around that was when B*barf would start openly talking about how they are finding communities that can be really nice breeding grounds.

Eventually the fascist religious right and the transphobic "feminists" (really, all they do anymore is attack trans people, specially women, so not really feminists anymore) realized they are natural allies.

"LGB Alliance" is an astroturf campaign from the American religious right (e.g Heritage Foundation) but the existing transphobic cults in the UK were already very prone to this and fell for it gladly.

Overal a lot of trends found each other and they are having a field day destroying human rights in the UK.

People every where in the world have to pay attention. Because now that the fascist right has figured out this cheat code, they are already using it in other countries.

Trans people have consistently been at the core of basically every sort of social justice activism. Stonewall being a great example. The cis allies to the religious right are not aware that this is part of a great project to eventually weaken everyone's rights.

The UK is once again a great example of this. We found self-proclaimed feminists supporting an attack of teenager's rights because it was presented as "just" an attack on trans rights. But in doing so they started a precedent that will inevitably harm reproductive rights.
