He was one of my first visual inspiration along with Moebius and Druillet when I was a teen. Not only for is unique style, colors, poses, muscular crazyness, but also for the compelling story telling, the composition, the eerie atmosphere that are still unmatched to this day.
He was also always looking for new techniques and ways to root his vision into reality by using any means necessary: digital template, clay.. I always loved that aspect of his work and it certainly inspired some of my own process as well.
