Good Hawley is the guy who finds something that's an issue that is just kind of being ignored, that affects a lot of people, and zeroing in on it.
There is certainly a political cynicism involved-his crusade against slavery is in part a demagogic attack against the NBA and woke capital-but in the process Good Hawley is leading a charge against *human slavery*, something that no right-thinking person should oppose.
Good Hawley attacks problems that others wave their hands at in exasperation. So, what's the downside?
Well, the downside is Bad Hawley. The ambitious political animal who seeks political conflict rather than progress and jeopardizes important principles in the process.

I'm hugely in favor of putting big porn out of business. Here's the issue: If credit card companies begin to make a regular practice of enforcing their moral views through business, the woke people in control of those companies will attack conservative principles next, and more.
Gun retailers. Christian bookstores. Online giving to churches that are politically unpopular. It's not hard to imagine this at all.
Good Hawley provokes discussion and attacks problems that nobody else seems to quite get around to addressing.
