When I first saw the numbers on 'Form M' for importation of egg shell powder into Nigeria, I was like $1bn per annum.

A thread:

The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria has member companies mostly in Confectionery request 'form m' for raw materials to import $1bn worth of it
Egg shell powder is used for:

* Chicken feed additives
* Coffee brewing
* Used in processing fodder for animal livestock
* Used as additive in making fertilizer
* Used as abrasive agent in making toothpaste

In Nigeria currently there's only 1 company making egg shell powder
This company processes 50k eggs per day or (1 tonne) that doesn't meet up to 5% of demand of egg shell powder in Nigeria.

Imagine Nigerian companies spending $1bn importing powder created from the shell of the eggs you dispose after use!
Imagine you set up a factory that services 10% of the demand for egg shell powder by manufacturers in Nigeria by:

1) Buying egg breaking machine, egg shell and liquid seperator machine and egg grinding machine
2) You sign production offtake agreement (POA) with a manufacturer
3) You either set up a poultry to aggregate eggs or set up a contract with a commercial poultry for supply of eggs.

10% of market share is $100m in revenues yearly.

This is B2B, so your costs are:

- Equipment listed above
- Power (Generator)
- Staff ( Recurrent)
- Eggs (Recurrent)

* You can sell equity from the business to a commercial poultry and have them supply you eggs as a going concern as part of the share purchase agreement. The NIPC will give you pioneer status that grants you CIT exemption for 5 years.
