My mate is 'clinically extremely vulnerable'. He worked at a venue that shut down due to Covid & went onto Universal Credit. He was shielding until the government washed its hands of shielding people & today the job centre told him to get a job at Greggs...while cases are rising.

The state is telling someone who might die if he catches Covid to go and work in a place where he'll be in contact with hundreds of people each day, while simultaneously warning that the virus is spreading and it's up to us to stop it. Imagine being put in that position.
