It took a while for it to grow on me but its amazing how Russo makes the orchestra come alive to pull you into the story. Its both classic and new. /3

3) The Trekkiest theme of all #itsunmistakeablytrek
Motion Picture Main Theme, Jerry Goldsmith
Almost chose TNG’s theme but the more dramatic drums of TMP’s opening seconds pushed it to the top. This IS the ST theme for most fans and nothing can top Goldsmith’s flair. /4
