During his school years, Russell Brunson had two interests: Wrestling and advertising.

He was a successful wrestler both in high school and college.
When he graduated, he was one of the top 10 best wrestlers in the whole country

He would study marketing campaigns to find out how businesses are generating sales.
One weekend during spring break, him and a friend decided to build potato guns.

So he created his very first info-product called:
"How To Make A Potato Gun"
How the hell did he sell that?
In short: Direct response marketing.

In an interview with Stefan James @ProLifeMastery Russell said that he would study someone else's sales page

But it wasn't until 2014 that he started ClickFunnels...

Every new funnel would take between 3 to 4 months to set up: Design, copy, web development.
Until Todd Dickerson, the other co-founder, had an idea...

As we know today, their mission succeeded and they went on to revolutionize business for thousands of entrepreneurs around the world.

He'd assemble a core group of people who are all experts in their own field, but fit well together.
