1. I'm a fan of @OpenSecretsDC but this is absolutely false. The information about post 11/3 corporate donations to Perdue/Loeffler in my newsletter today is simply not available there.

The site does not reflect the 12/3 filings

2. This is nerdy but I'll explain. You can navigate to Perdue's page and click on PAC donations.

That will give you a list of industries.

You can click through each industry to get individual donors.

But that wouldn't tell you which companies donated after 11/3

3. Let's look in the Food and Beverage subcategory on Misc Business category. It tells you that Anheuser-Busch donated 5K to Perdue. And nothing from Molson-Coors.

But Actually Anheuser-Busch has donated 20K to Perdue and Molson-Coors 5K.

@OpenSecretsDC has not been updated

4. Also, critically, @OpenSecretsDC does not provide DATES. So even once this is updated, it won't tell you which companies donated after Election Day, once it was clear the election was at stake.

5. @OpenSecretsDC isn't doing anything wrong. Their data has been updated through 10/14, the last filing by Perdue. It will update it again, when Perdue files again on 12/24

What I did is go into all the individual corporate PAC filings from 12/3 https://popular.info/p/these-corporations-are-funding-the

6. This is probably too much detail for 99% of people but I think it's important to understand that the work of independent journalists is valuable and doesn't just duplicate info that is already out there
