Ashamed. And preparing to send the original back which I knew would be almost $60 on his end to ship. I told him to keep it and gift it to a friend. Since then that man has come back 4 more times this year and spent over $3k on my store.
I try to push the idea of great customer service to other small businesses. Even if you are right, take the L. This year I’ve had multiple people shop with me 5 times and I’ve been reaching out to give complimentary gifts as a thank you. It goes a long way
