How many planets orbit the Sun?
If you said 8, you are wrong.
If you said 9 you are even wronger and need to accept that Pluto is no longer a planet.

The actual answer is 7. Planets orbit around the Barycenter, the common center of gravity between the planet and the Sun. For all planets bar Jupiter, they are small enough that the common ground is either smack bang in the middle of the Sun, or near enough.
Jupiter is so massive that its Barycenter with the Sun lies 48 743.8 kilometers above the Sun's surface.
So if you're being pedantic AND WE ARE then Jupiter technically doesn't quite orbit around the Sun, but a point above its surface.
