The practice in the nets is generally suited for Tests.

For T20s, ask a Pant and a Samson (players who are still honing their skills) to bat for 8 overs. Give the ball (12-15 overs old) to Saini and Siraj [they can bowl just 2 slower balls per 10 balls).

Set a field.
Ask the batters to look for boundaries (not on every ball) but running between the wickets isn't allowed.

Both bowlers bowl 4 overs and both batters bat throughout 8 overs. Ask a coach to calculate good hits, false hits, good balls by bowlers etc, then advise players.
This will help batters and bowlers to play according to the field.

Such training sessions can be extended too.

***

Give a new ball to your PP bowlers and set the PP field. Ask your openers to look for boundaries. Do this for six overs.
For middle-overs, bowl your spinners, set a field, ask batters to hit boundaries again (not on every ball). Give them 8-12 overs.

***

For middle-overs in ODIs, set a field and ask middle-order batters to rotate strike.
Playing the field and practice in such clear roles will help the players.

But it may be time-taking, still should be helpful in long-term.
