violence. The normative argument on non-intervention has lifted all pressures off the violent extremist group, allowing them to force their terms and views on #AFG people through killing & destruction and total disregards for #AFG people’s demand for ceasefire. 2/4
It was the Taliban’s masters’ idea to keep the intl community at bay on peace negotiations. The Taliban use it as an argument for ‘legitimacy’ of the talk(no foreigners involved). That norm has now blurred the moral line between where not to intervene and where not to become 3/4
Morally neutral. Becoming morally neutral will put an end to a world order where justice is considered to be a planetary concern, and set fundamentalist groups free to kill and subjugate their victim communities with greater freedom. World diplomats should not allow that. 4/4.
