We need to dispel the myth that 'lube' is only for vaginally dryness and that being naturally 'wet' is the only indication of arousal. Instead start thinking of lube as a norm if you want to have all round better sex with less friction. Know your lubes!
A thread....
Water based: most versatile, used for almost any type of play. Thin & slippery, washes off easily(so not for shower sex), safe to use with toys and latex condoms and less likely to stain. Although, they evaporate easily & contain glycerine so may be an irritant for some.
Oil based: double up as massage oil, less need for re-application, naturally moisturizing. Downside; can't be used with toys/condoms as degrade latex, can stain sheets & clothing & some are more ass with increased urinary or vaginal infections. Eg: baby oil, Vaseline, tissue oil.
Silicone Based: the most slippery so are esp good for non vaginal intercourse, don't degrade latex condoms. Best option for use in water/shower, don't evaporate easily & contain the least irritants. Only downside is they degrade silicone sex toys. #safesex #durex #sexhealth #lube
