Interesting comments by Higgs in Adam Huras story about Andrea Anderson-Mason criticizing the government on rural Internet.
It's a change in tone from a year ago, when Higgs made a virtue of a "diverse" group of ministers expressing "passion" on issues. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/higgs-new-brunswick-vaccination-mandatory-1.5410489
Except in this current case Anderson-Mason is a backbench MLA who is, arguably, simply advocating for her riding; when he put up with her dissent last year she was a member of cabinet hesitant about a government bill.
Back then Higgs did not have a majority. Now he does.
One last observation. Back in the summer, when another PC member was off-message with him, Higgs made a comment that may reveal a lot about his thinking on these kinds of things.
