1/ The UK is doing free trade deals with Canada, Japan, Switzerland and many others.

The UK is also happy to do free trade deals with EU countries. But they can't negotiate for themselves, because the EU won't let them. And the EU won't offer a fair deal for political reasons.
2/ If no deal comes to pass, the EU countries will watch a nimble UK outcompete them on every front.

The UK will make major policy decisions at lightning pace compared to the EU. It will make free trade deals with countries the EU hasn't even opened negotiations with...
3/ Whilst the EU tries and fails to pass a budget, EU countries will watch the UK thrive. And this is what the EU fears the most...

Because then they will see the UK's trade growing. They will see self-regulation and self-governance working wonders.They will see Global Britain reasserting itself on the World stage.

Then they'll look at the billions they pay to the EU and ask:
"Is it worth it?"
