I'm finding the reporting of this so frustrating and ham-fisted. Every single article seems to have gone with "inappropriate touching" or something equally euphemistic. Call it what it is - an alleged or an apparent sexual assault
If you haven't seen the video, it appears to show him putting his hand down a woman's dress and touching her breasts while she struggles. If the video is an accurate representation of what happened, that's sexual assault
I get that the men who write about F1 probably have never written about stuff like this before, nor have they likely spent much time thinking or talking about it. And undoubtedly they're using euphemistic language to cover their back because it's difficult to report on this stuff
But this stuff makes it seem like the only problem here was that he embarrassed the team
