1. After living in Australia for so long, birth myself and my wife regularly have skin checkups due to the harshness of the sun. But yesterday, at her checkup, they reported some new skin damage over the last 12 months.
2. Turns out, this wasn't caused by the wonderful Irish sun (where are you?) but from increased exposure to blue light whilst sitting at a computer screen all day now, doing video conf calls etc. The dermatologist advise was to wear factor 50 whilst at the screen.
3. It's obvious when you think about it, but wanted to share and flag this to everyone. Not only will this reduce the chances of you looking like a dried fruit later in life, it will reduce the risk of skin cancers through overexposure. https://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2017/jun/01/lights-off-is-the-glare-from-your-computer-really-ageing-your-skin
