(1/5) The pink states need to join TX and the other red states in the TX lawsuit. That would make 25 states—half the country’s states. SCOTUS needs to see that 50% of the country’s states are standing united in seeking relief.
(2/5) The four light blue states would have been red if not for the unconstitutional imposition of election laws on the states’ populations by Governors and courts, the net effect being disenfranchisement their own populations as well as that of the rest of the country.
(3/5) SCOTUS could order the states’ legislatures to choose their respective slates of electors giving an electoral college win to @realDonaldTrump, or rule the four states’ elections as unlawful and void, in which case neither candidate would reach 270 electoral votes.
(4/5) In the case of the latter, the 12th Amendment to the US Constitution would apply; each state would send just one vote to Congress for President. The four light blue states all have Republican controlled state legislatures and should pledge their votes for @realDonaldTrump.
(5/5) Thus, the 25 red states and the four light blue states (that should have been red) would send 29 total votes to Congress for @realDonaldTrump. The balance of the states would send just 21 votes to Congress for @JoeBiden.
