Yesterday's incident made it clear that:
• Public should have a basic fire fighting awareness among themselves.
• We should be able to identify the type of fire e.g Class A, B, C, D, E, F/K and the subsequent type of extinguishers to be used according to the class.

• We should be aware that it is the smoke that kills first before the fire reaches to you. So if you are in a room filled of smoke, please crawl on your fours and come out. Smoke will rise naturally.
• Be aware of the ventilation system of your workplace.

• Be aware of the types and usages of fire extinguishers and othes fire fighting equipment/system available at your place.
