unpopular opinion: we don’t need a live action ahsoka series

this got a lot longer than i thought it was gonna be:)

her story has almost been completely filled, we saw her beginning in Clone Wars, how she became apart of the rebellion in her book, and her time serving the rebellion in Rebels. she doesn’t have much left in her life that, i personally, think is very important

yes we know that ahsoka and sabine are on the hunt for ezra and thrawn. but again, personally i don’t want the rebels sequel to be a live action story about ahsoka. yes i’m excited to see her, i always will be, but not every story has to have her as a center point.

also, i wasn’t a huge fan of the live action ahsoka, specifically her actress. i would much rather have another animated series because i enjoy those more than live action (not saying i don’t like the live action stuff, i just would rather watch an animation over live action)

another thing about ahsokas translation to live-action, it didn’t feel right to me. it didn’t feel like ahsoka, now i could probably get used to it and she could grow on me. tbf she was in one episode of the mandalorian. i would just love to see ashley play ahsoka again.

and lastly, there are so many more stories to expand on or create, we all love ahsoka, i hold her near and dear to my heart, but i would love a series about a different character. we’ll see her in the rebels sequel, but i want it to be about sabine and ezra, it’s a rebels sequel!

i don’t want it to just be ahsokas journey and then finding ezra is a side plot! obviously i’ll watch it if the series is confirmed, but i just don’t think it’s completely necessary:)

i’ve just been seeing a lot of people wanting an ahsoka series and it kind of got in my nerves. please feel free to talk with me about it, this is just my personal opinion!
