Mike Gundy built OSU by dominating Texas, TCU, & Texas Tech while being competitive with Oklahoma. As you can see, he doesn’t do that any more.

So why are OSU fans so frustrated? Because they don’t beat OU? Sure. Neither does the rest of the Big 12. But now they’re losing to the middle of the league & OSU has a losing record, since 18, to every team in Texas.

So Mike Gundy can preach culture & consistency & winning seasons all he wants, but OSU fans expect to beat Texas Tech more than once every 3 years. And go to bowl games whose name doesn’t start with Liberty & Texas. And right now his teams aren’t doing that.

I would note, Texas Tech has already fired 1 coach and a lot of Tech fans hope it’s 2 coaches after this season. But they’ve beaten OSU in 2 of 3 years.
