Y'all, I'm kind of appalled at the harassment and rage directed at (frequently) women and queer people who have reviewed #Cyberpunk2077
.
#CDProjektRed have ignited a pre-release culture around a game the likes of which I've never seen. And I don't say that as a compliment. (1)

Diversity of thought and experience is what makes this medium we love vibrant and beautiful. And I hate seeing this undone by people who attempt to conceal their own inability to consider another person's capacity for interaction behind bigotry and pettiness. (2)
If Cyberpunk ends up becoming your favorite game, brilliant. You deserve joy, and to find something you love (especially in ruinous times like these). But our community is far weaker when misogyny and death threats (seriously?) attempt to silence salient criticism. (3)
We here at RPGFan believe that games are for everyone. We're better when we have trans perspectives on Cyberpunk's ads, Native critiques on Horizon's "Braves," Black opinions on Barret in FF7R, and many more who are fighting for space within a too-often hostile discourse. (4)
TL;DR: Cyberpunk is no more and no less than a game. There are human beings who made it, and human beings who are critiquing it. Treat them as such. (5)
