1/ Katie and I are going to talk about The Atlantic's article on gender critical online stuff on a paywalled episode of the podcast, but a brief point: I don't really see how anyone can dip a toe in the online Gender Wars and come away convinced GC types are particularly vicious

5/ don't need or want your pity because I'm doing fine, but to read an article purporting to claim that the abuse in this arena is coming from one side in particular really took me aback. (Especially because one of the 'victims' cited is a serial fabricator!!!)
6/ Anyway, I'm not GC so maybe my experience doesn't count, but I don't understand how any coverage of this issue focused on harassment/abuse can ignore all the stuff going on. Talk to, like, Kathleen Stock or Sarah Ditum. This is just extremely slanted journalism. Disappointed.
7/ Oh and none of this is to say there's no harassment coming from GC types. I'm sure there is. But the harassment coming from the other side ain't exactly subtle or hard to find.
