Harm reduction services are urgently needed to prevent HIV & HCV, & overdoses which are skyrocketing across NYS. But many providers are struggling to survive & can't meet the need bc of @NYGovCuomo's cuts.

Our User Union leaders on the ground in the Bronx have described how ppl have had to reuse syringes for days & overdoses are happening all the time. Our communities are stuck between a pandemic & an epidemic and are struggling for services & relief. It doesn't have to be this way
. @NYGovCuomo-the fiscally conservative Gov-wages deadly austerity on the most vulnerable NYers. These cuts & furloughs are bad 4 the economy & BAD PUBLIC HEALTH. The syringe/supply shortage is preventable. Ods are preventable. We need relief now
