There is no consensus on what makes an MVP. Some say MVPs don’t ship—they’re internal prototypes. Others say MVPs go out to a limited audience as a beta. And of course, since this is Twitter, some present their particular MVP assertions as if they were obvious and universal… and I’m just being dense… or maybe I’m a troll.
I should add that others view MVP as part of a product development methodology, and some of these descriptions are rich in detail.
I’m not saying any of these ideas are wrong, just that MVP may not be useful as a term of art—too much ambiguity.
