Every manager since Fergie I have backed. You know when the end is coming now and this is nowhere near. It's the clearest progressive plan I have seen at United lead by someone in the position on merit.

Plenty of stats like 2nd in the form table back it all up.
Rebuild - We were in a mess after Jose did his greatest achievement, Ole was handed a complete mix of players who came under different managers and styles. Aging and some were too settled.

He now has got some of his players(1st targets?) and removed a lot of aholes.
Willing to make the squad thin risked a lot but getting rid of the bad influences was worth it is his belief. This rebuild is not completed.

We have options but this unprecedented season with games none stop will take it's toll.

Settled teams is what many successful ones are.
Basing what Ole should be judged on when comparing the tools he has been given with what other past managers got is pointless, they have all been let down and the club needs work long term still even if Ole's project has convinced them otherwise.
Moyes = Continue
LVG = Win/Philosophy
Mourinho = Win at almost any cost
Ole = Reset/Rebuild

Let him attempt it first before calling for his head at every chance. Was always going to be long term multi seasons not Fifa get rid and sign a lot overnight that instantly work.
Philosophy needs to be hard written in the club and a director to handle the football side that sees it is adhered to throughout the club not change. Ole meshes with the philosophy well but it's not guaranteed to continue esspically with a direction change again.
