My thoughts are the patriots probably settled on a date for Rush to exit. Rush knows the date. It will be painless and kind.

Rush did so much good for our country. This thread is not to knock him. I just think Trump's Medal of Freedom gave it away - at least to me. It was the perfect sendoff.
Just because he had problems with addiction doesn't mean Rush was not a national treasure. He was.
