the notion that to be Catholic means to be Latinized. Despite the fact that the RCC is a communion of 24 Churches. It's as if the one Latin Church is the only Church that matters & is visible while treating all the Eastern Catholics like 2nd class citizens of their Church made to

be an afterthought in history and the now and just tools to submit to Rome. These prejudices are part of the reason why Eastern Catholicism is much more rare in the United States, than the Orthodox in America. When Eastern Catholics came to the United States and started being

members of their local diocese, they saw that the Eastern Catholics had married priests that they brought with them and other things that weren't apart of the Latin tradition. Thus they told them to drop their traditions including the Eastern Catholic priests who were ordained.

This eventually led to the notable figure Saint Alexis Georgievich Toth, who was an Eastern Catholic priest immigrant in America who converted to Orthodoxy & led about 20,000 of his former fellow Byzantine Catholics to convert to Orthodoxy because his former Catholic bishop would

not accept him & his traditions that were approved by the Pope. I encourage Catholics to study history so that they may know not only Catholicism & Orthodoxy better but not make such cheap jabs that "own" not only "Orthodogs" but their supposed Byzantine Catholic brothers as well
