I think a lot of people on this site are confused about spies, double agents, the category of useful idiots, & espionage overall.

It's much easier & effective for a foreign gov't like China to assist & elect pro-Beijing legislators than to completely flip someone's allegiances.

You won't find a "smoking gun" of someone like Swalwell/ Feinstein actively assisting CCP as an all-out traitor. More so, you'll find ppl whose manipulated or genuine hearts & minds are assisting Beijing through policy action of their own undertaking, w/out any direct CCP action.

This is why any serious person understood immediately that the allegations claiming POTUS was some super secret Russian spy were BS. Sad that it became a mainstream belief on the Left, and remains the case to this day. It was a symptom of uninformed ppl watching too many movies.

And of course, the difference between the Russia hoax and the Swalwell/Feinstein stuff is that we actually have docs to prove the latter parties were repeated targeted as part of a longstanding Chinese gov't influence operation in the Bay Area.

To this day, there remains zero evidence that POTUS was even targeted by the Russians. No, Putin saying he respects POTUS is not evidence...

Feinstein, Swalwell, and Rep Khanna were confirmed targets of a CCP operation. In Feinstein's case, it went on for decades.

The elephant in the room question is whether the CCP "has something" on these legislators that could bridge the gap from pro-Beijing legislator to compromised pro-Beijing legislator. In Swalwell's case, it's better that the blackmail is now out in the open so CCP has no leverage.
