Just spent 25 minutes on the phone with my dad trying to verify if I had deposited a check he sent me (I knew I had). But he insisted he didn’t see it on his bank statement.
My reply: “You still get bank statements?”

If I told y’all the amount of money this check was for, you’d fall on the floor laughing. Parents are the best. 
Oh, and I’m happy to report that after logging onto his trusty desktop computer, he finally was able to confirm that, yes, I had deposited the check. Just as I told him 20 minutes prior. Lol
The best part was my mom in the background saying, “You must have a lot of money if you can’t remember depositing a check.”
