I was told I’m not kindly caring for women who may not be able to have children or who don’t have children because I will not budge on my pets ≠ children stance.

Also that I believe the fact that saying your pet is your child brings an animal to an image bearer’s levels or lowers an image bearer to an animals level.

Because I affirm that words have meaning and to bastardize them is wrong.

I actually feel strongly enough for women who cannot or do not have children to not affirm that fantasy and I believe in what Scripture says about children and fear the Lord enough to not twist that word.

Aside from the fact that if we keep just letting the world have its way with words that it will pervert everything.

Let’s be honest, it’s “fur child” today and soon someone is going to say this is my “fur spouse”.

I’ll take it all back if someone can drop a Bible verse where someone desires a child and God gives them a golden doodle puppy.

I think all Christians should want to unite under the Scripture’s terms and definitions for something and should want to defend the perversion of them.
