The bad/sad thing of learning about norse mythology, is that is really probable that most of the people who is interested in it will never really know the real stories of the norse religions, becuase most for not saying all of the souces of this cultures come from [1/6]
Documents from lands that have been christianized for a long time, and becuase of these, there are some bits of christian changes in the books, poems, and sorces in general 2/6
For example, it is implied in some versions that after Ragnarok, Baldr will rise from the dead taking the lead as mayor god, in a world where only two humans are left... Doesn't that sound a little like the story of Adam and Eve 3/6
Loki is a weird case as it is often portrayed as a demon or as THE devil because of all the shenaningans he causes that, in the long term causes the end of the world 4/6
Frejya has a story where she had snu snu with a bunch of dwarves for some jewelry, this is probably to portray the godess as a slut, and easy girl, and more degrading stuff 5/6
There is also vague mentions of an ombipotent entity that created everything, this is just slaping the judeo christian god into an already established creation of the world myth! If am not wrong this entity isn't even mentioned again ever! 6/6
In conclusion, fuck. Norse myths are already confusing with the cosmic cow and all of the names used for the same gods
