2 things happened before 12 today

1. A man walks into the hospital w/o a mask. Clearly, he doesn't wear one normally.

2. I stand by with a family as they say goodbye to a loved one. They are not allowed in the room. This patient will die w/no family present.

Masks save lives.
I had to sit outside of the ER with a woman who told me they wouldn't let her back in the patient area to see her son because "then she would see that the virus isn't a big deal."

Two buildings over and six floors up, people were being kept alive on ventilators.
People with Down syndrome (like my brother) almost always have preexisting health conditions. I know of two people with Downs who died from Covid and couldn't have family with them when they passed.
Wear a mask. The virus may not hurt you, but it literally kills other people. You might be a carrier without knowing it.
