1/ Persuasive Copywriting Is Your Direct Marketing Layer

2/ Run a Content Company as a Software Company

Instead of focusing on making software and selling it over and over again, focus on building trust and then creating many different products to sell it.
3/ Audience ≠ Community

Two terms that often used interchangeably, but often misused.

The one is passive, the other is active.

Stop working for 2 weeks and see what happens: did the engagement decrease (audience) or did it increase (community)?
4/ Billionaires Aren't 10^9 Times Smarter Than You Are

The fact that their wealth exceeds yours doesn't mean their intelligence does.

The wealthy among us also battle self-doubt and issues. They just went after it, over and over again.

If they can do it, so can you.
5/ Get an Attention Pool and Keep People Hooked

We're in an attention economy - the longer you can keep people in, the more you win.

Become an expert in holding someone’s attention.
6/ The Content Becomes the Product

Stay relevant and keep providing value.

Use the idea of Build Once, Sell Twice (cc: @visualizevalue) to create even higher leverage of marketing content. Write one piece of content that helps people convert forever.
7/ Look For The Edge

@TheHustle wasn't the first newsletter and sure it isn't the first global media company. Yet, they succeeded so far and built a multi-million dollar brand.
