Random mini thread thing.

The father of one of our cleaners at work passed away recently and the cleaner asked me if there was any way I could copy an old photo of their dad from his RAF days as his mum really likes it and it was old and damaged and she didn't want to lose it
Meanwhile one of the drivers who chauffeurs me about ;-) had an old team photo from the 70s of when he played kickball for Wimbledon and asked if there was any way of copying the print and making it bigger.
Meanwhile a nurse at work recently suffered a relative passing away and the family (back home in St Vincent) really wanted a "nice photo of her in her Royal Navy uniform" she asked me if it was possible I could do her one without me getting in to trouble as she thought I only
Photograph stuff for VIPs (and flags)

Today I had a spare hour, printed a couple of photos of the cleaners dad, after tidying up some scratches and stains and making it look old but as good as new.
Then scanned a kickball team photo, gave it a bit of a tidy up in photoshop and printed out a few copies.

Then I snuck in doing a nice portrait of a nurse, edited it and printed it.
Just dropped off the prints to all 3 of them... left all 3 of them suffering from hayfever ;-)

Cleaner has a cool old photo of his dad in RAF uniform thst will last forever and can put the original away safely. Said his mum is going to so happy.
Driver has a nice print of his team and his mates and now wants to contact them all to pass the copies on to them, also bought back some good memories for him from his kickball days and he's looking forward to catching up with people he's not seen for ages
And a nurse who says its the nicest pic she has of herself and her family and particularly her mum are going to love it.

Little things innit.

Took me less than an hour to make 3 peoples day and the knock of effect of that is several more happy folk :-)
That in turn has made my day, genuinely feel happier now than when I see my photos in newspapers or magazines or when I'm photographing flags ;-)
One of the receptionists at work just asked me what was in the envelope that I gave the cleaner, I asked why she wanted to know and she said "just wondered as after you walked away he looked in it and started crying"
Just messaged Mike the cleaner to check he's OK and said if he needs any more photos to give me a shout, got this back :-)
