We’ve conceded 14 goals this season,at least 7 of those goals have come from Bellerin incompetency
Liverpool’s second goal: Robertson
-A total lack of positional awareness
City’s goal: Sterling
-allows Foden to come inside way too easily
Villa’s first goal: Saka OG
-once again a complete lack of positional awareness and a lack of athleticism to reach the Villa player before the cross comes in
Villa’s second goal: Watkins
- and again, a lack of positional awareness. In this scenario he’s more central than Holding
Villa’s third goal: Watkins
- Simply gets bullied by Grealish
Wolves’ second goal: Podence
- has no clue what’s going on in his surroundings to clear the parried shot
Spurs’ first goal: Son
-it was a world class goal but it could have been easily intercepted way ahead of time. Once again Bellerin lacks the positional awareness to analyse his surroundings. All it took was to step aside early and intercept Kane’s pass but he realises too late
Spurs’ second goal: Kane
- something that we’ve seen for years now, Bellerin’s final ball being a massive let down once again and leaves us vulnerable on the counter as he’s not got the legs to cover after the turnover
If I was being harsh I could also include the next two
Liverpool’s third goal: Jota
- fails to close down the ball with urgency and turns away from the shot, while I don’t rate Xhaka he got slated for the same thing at Old Trafford last season, he turned away from a more powerful shot as well
Wolves’ first: Neto
- this is probably the most harsh but I’m going to run this agenda because I can’t be asked with him anymore. Failure to close down the shot, same goes for Ceballos
The last two are harsh, mostly the last one however if this doesn’t show how poor he’s been I don’t know what will. This happens a lot more often as well but he’s lucky that he gets saved by those behind him
